2026 PARENT/SWIMMER CODE OF CONDUCT
Hi Everyone!!
I LOVE teaching your children how to swim and how to be confident in the water, as well as improve their race times throughout the season. Here are a few suggestions I'd like to be followed:
- Please do NOT tell me important information verbally during practice. I will NOT remember it! :) I'm there to focus on the kids. You can tell me briefly before or after practice, but please also leave me a text, email, or note!
- If your child has to leave early, that's fine. Just get my attention.
- Please NO parent-coaching from the side in the middle of practice. If you'd like more time with your child, feel free to come during lap swim or lessons. Otherwise, it's a distraction to others and me.
- I'm a HUGE fan of sportsmanship and encourage ALL parents and swimmers to cheer on not only their child, but our team and other teams as well.
- The reason we coach is because we LOVE the sport and LOVE passing along our knowledge to your children. Foul language and disrespectful attitudes will NOT be tolerated.
If you have any questions or concerns, I'm more than willing to discuss any of the above topics.
Thanks! I'm looking forward to a GREAT season!!
